The Hilda Stories

Everyone's all mid-century crazy, what with Mad Men coming back. Today I stumbled across this video, put out by Herman Miller.

It's the stories of Hilda Longinotti, who was George Nelson's secretary back in the early 50s. She's been telling these stories for a while, but now they're animanted and completely worth a watch or two. (And she explains why there are so many Ginko trees on 22nd Street between Park and Broadway.)

The best is her advice at the end about what to wear to a job interview.
