Short -- But Important -- Life Advice From Steve Jobs

I love deep thoughts, and this short video Steve Jobs made in 1995 puts a lot into perspective.

"Everything around you that you call life... was made up by people that were no smarter than you."

This is also very important.

"Most people never pick up the phone, most people never ask."

In an age of e-mail and text messages, I still pick up the phone and call people when I need something or want to follow up, even if it is just to get coffee. Some find this surprising, even antiquated. But there are so many verbal and behavioral nuances to be picked up from a conversation that you'll never get from e-mail. (Also, they can't ignore you if they're talking to you.)

Apps For Autism

There have been a lot of segments post-Steve Jobs about the good that his products have done. I'm no hard core Apple nerd (I'm a PC gal all the way) but this piece about Apps For Autism is amazing. You must watch it.
