Two Bedroom With 1,000 Square Foot Terrace. This Really Exists
I woke up bright and early this morning to get great shots of this two bedroom with a 1,000 square foot terrace. East 40s, doorman, elevator and pets are OK. It faces South, East and North with an emormous, south-facing living room. Available immediately. Full listing here.

Please Make A Note Of It

Also, who says the East 50s are boring? This Mastiff looking dog was just hanging out of his front window this afternoon. I begged him not to jump.

What a puss.

Super Cute Apartment Of The Day! E. 50s One Bed -- $1700!!
I'm trying to find the perfect one bedroom for a client who is relocating to New York City. She's a Connecticut gal like myself, so I'm willing to go the extra mile and preview tons of stuff for her. Also, we got downright abused in the rain yesterday but we managed to still have fun.
This afternoon was a quiet one. Methinks Manhattanites are recovering from being cooped up yesterday, so I checked out a few one beds in the East 50s whose price points were a little too low to drag a client to if I hadn't first seen it. No one wants to see a dump!
Below is one of the best one bedroom deals I've seen in a while. There are two real $1700 one bedrooms in the same building on East 50th Street between First and Second Avenue. It's a quiet block, lined with brownstones and near all the fun bars and restaurants. There's a real kitchen, exposed brick, deco fireplace and great closets. The super is a very nice guy as well. He and I had a little chat this afternoon.
To give you an idea of the size, the unit on the ground floor was converted to two bedrooms and was still cozy and livable. But it's def great space for one person.
Open kitchen leading to the living room

A few steps back

Welcome home!

Bedroom easily fits a queen sized bed. Has large windows and closet.

Nice kitchen
