Pitbulls = Never a Good Time

Last night I was walking around Union Square, just as plenty of other people were. Right in front of PetCo I saw a woman walking a Schnauser pass a guy walking a Pitbull, which was all decked out in chain and spikes.

The two dogs passed each other and gave each other a little sniff. Then, the Pitbull jumped out at the little Schnauser and started to try to maul it. It literally went right for the the Schnauser's jugular.

The Schnauser was barking and whining for its life while its owner tried desperately to pull it away from the crazy Pitbull. The Pitbull owner tried to pull it off as well, but the dog was quite resilient in trying to eat the Schanuser.

Everyone on the sidwalk literally stopped to watch the spectacle, which was one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen. I'm surprised the police weren't called because clearly, that Pitbull had some anger management issues and the woman and her Schnauser looked like she was going to cry. Generally speaking you really have to abuse or starve a dog in order for it to attack a random animal. (I'm looking at you, Michael Vick.)

Even creepier was that after the two dogs were separated, the Pitbull's owner, a weasely, ruffian of a man, looked at everyone who was still gawking and shouted, "What the hell are you people looking at?"

Um, a crazy dog and its owner, maybe?
