I'm at 55% of my goal for raising money for the MS Society for the New York Half Marathon on March 17th. Since there is an enormous storm about to the East Coast, making a donation is a good way to kill a little time.

Altruism: We Have It!

The very good news is that after just a week of fundraising, I met my goal and raised over $1500 for The MS Society!

I am still accepting donations. If you're feeling inclined, feel free to donate. $2500 is another big fundraising milestone.

It seemed timely that this segment ran on CBS Sunday Morning, about a young boy who, thanks to the internet, raised enough donations to get his grandmother's house out of foreclosure.
