I was telling Le Doug this afternoon about how much fun I had at Melissa's bachelorette party, and between telling him about the shower and her wedding plans, his eyes glazed over a little.
"Why must men suffer through all this?" He asked. "Weddings totally revolve around women. It's as if the men are hardly even there. I propose a new theory: since everyone only cares about the bride and the dress and all the girly details, couldn't a groom just be conferenced in to a wedding, right when he has to say, 'I Do.'? That way he could be doing something he really wants to do, like go to a Yankee game, and then meet up later on at the reception."
He really thinks this idea could catch on.
