This bit of street art is popping up all over Manhattan. I kind of love it. The green one is right here on 35th Street and Lexington.
I have a prediction: in the not-too-distance future walking and staring at your phone is going to become tacky, along the lines of leaving your phone on the table during dinner. Given how awful texting and driving has become, I think we're getting to a point where being lost in one's devices in public is overwhelmingly accepted as just bad manners. Being present will be the new black.
