Training for this year's New York City Half Marathon has been vastly different from last year. Last year the weather was strangely mild and I could easily run a few loops of Central Park over the weekend. No problemo.
This year it has been either Arctic cold, snowing or, like today, raining. And while I did get out there today when it was early and just an annoying drizzle, more rain is forecasted for tomorrow.
Nevertheless, I must run because the race is now less than a month away and I am still raising money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I'm almost at my fundraising goal! Feel free to make a donation while I wring myself out.
