Last night I found this delightful ring from 1790. It reads, "Pour ma Sophie, toujours ma petite cherie tout." Loosely translated, it means, For Sophie you will always be my little darling.

From roughly the same era, I found this gold engraved locket. It reads, "Mon couer est toujours fidelle." My heart is always loyal.
