Yes, friends, I'm writing to you from the City of Lights, where I've been since Thursday and will be until Sunday. It was all a surprise, and I certainly didn't expect it.

I've been all over town these past few days, taking snaps and being a total culture vulture. Photos to come once I upload them onto a computer that is not connected to a hotel.

In the meantime, Vive La France! It's gorgeous and warm here!
