Jen and I have been friends literally since we were about seven or eight years old. In kindergarten I remember Jen from the playground, although we were in different classes. In second grade at Catholic school we were in the same class and we've pretty much been friends ever since. It helped that she lived around the corner from me and there was always an extra chair at her dinner table.
She's engaged, has a great apartment and a great fella. Even though her life is pretty sweet, Ant (The Man) decided to throw her a surprise birthday party, complete with a Strawberry Shortcake theme. I should note this will not be the theme of her October wedding.
