...And Darnit, People Like Me!!

Hello all, sorry about the lapse yesterday. It was a day full of appointments and shopping. If I had the liberty to expand on the topic I would, but sufice it to say I had to be Professional Pauline, as opposed to Wandering Around Gramercy in Flip Flops And My Hair In Knots Pauline. So that is that.

I will say that I have reached a point where I don't want to shop anymore, at least not for a very long time. I feel like Richard Pryor in "Brewster's Millions." I don't have millions, but the few rubles I have to my name are being spent and spent, and frankly, it's getting a little old. That said, for the rest of the week, I vow to devote myself to philanthropy.

The photos from this week-end will be in and up tomorrow. Mark your calenders accordingly.

Today I came in and found the following e-mail in my box. I don't know if this guy is serious, but it was flattering in many ways.

Dear MRS.PAULINE
I'm a great fan of you. Therefore I would be happy if you could send me two autographs of you.
Many thanks in advance and all the best for you.
Sincerly
GOTTFRIED SCHMAUS

This e-mail is particurally notable because I once had an Uncle Gottfried on my mother's side who was married to my Aunt Sonya. Like many of the males on my mother's side, I believe he died of some sort of stomach cancer. However, the fact that is last name us "Schmaus" (rhymes with mouse) makes me wonder if someone is messing with me. Most likely, yes. Hooorah!
